# List of ingredients:

→ Chicken Preparation

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
03 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 cup chicken broth (gluten-free if required)
08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 0.33 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and sliced
11 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
12 - 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
13 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

14 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

# Directions:

01 - Pat chicken breasts dry. Season both sides evenly with kosher salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside; they do not need to be fully cooked at this stage.
03 - Reduce heat to medium. Add unsalted butter to the skillet and allow to melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.
04 - Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes.
05 - Stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian herbs, and optional red pepper flakes. Combine thoroughly and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
06 - Return seared chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon sauce over each breast, reduce heat to low, cover skillet, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F.
07 - Taste sauce and adjust salt and pepper as preferred.
08 - Sprinkle chopped fresh basil over the dish immediately before serving.
