# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It uses up fresh mint like nothing else and turns it into something you can enjoy for months.
  • The process is so simple you can start it and forget about it until the jar calls your name from the cupboard.
  • It makes people happy in ways store bought liqueurs just dont.
02 -
  • Do not skip cooling the syrup all the way down or the heat will cook off some of the delicate mint flavor youve been waiting weeks for.
  • High proof vodka makes a huge difference in how much mint oil it extracts, so dont settle for the cheapest bottle on the shelf.
03 -
  • Bruise the mint leaves gently with your hands before adding the vodka to release even more essential oils.
  • If you want a clearer cordial, strain it twice through cheesecloth or a coffee filter.
