Chocolate Dipped Valentine Pretzels (Printable version)

Crunchy pretzels dipped in chocolate and festively decorated with Valentine sprinkles.

# List of ingredients:

→ Pretzels

01 - 24 large pretzel rods

→ Chocolate Coating

02 - 7 oz semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped or chocolate chips
03 - 1 tsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional for smoothness)

→ Decorations

04 - 1.75 oz Valentine-themed sprinkles

# Directions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to catch drips and provide a clean surface for setting the dipped pretzels.
02 - Place chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and fully melted.
03 - Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted chocolate, gently twirling to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off back into the bowl.
04 - Immediately sprinkle Valentine sprinkles over the chocolate-coated portion, rotating the pretzel to cover all sides evenly while the chocolate is still tacky.
05 - Place dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. Allow chocolate to set completely at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes for faster setting.
